Cl2 + 2 KI = 2KCl + I2

I (Iodine) went from -1 to 0, and therefore, it is oxidized, which also makes it the reducing agent.
Cl (Chlorine) went from 0 to -1, so it is reduced, which also makes it the oxidizing agent.
