glucose is from macromolecules we digest (starch, amylose, etc)
they are digested/broken down by pancreatice amylase and salivary amylase
into monomers of carbs (glucose, for instance)

These molecules will travel through the blood with help of transport molecules
eventually, red blood cells will give cells glucose (or other carb monomers) when they take away waste from cells.
Now, the cell has the glucose for cellular respiration

How was it formed?
the plant takes in carbon dioxide from atmosphere (part of carbon cycle) and processes it through calvin cycle, which makes G3P. G3P will eventually be used for formation of organic material, which one of them is glucose.

Ultimately, the glucose you eat came from photosynthesis by green plants. You eat the plants, or animals that ate those plants.
