So the human evolutionary chart shows man evolving for gorillas... If that were to be true, how come gorillas still exist?

We share a common ancestor with apes. That's not the same as 'evolving from' - humans branched one way and apes branched the other.
We are told that because it is fact. It is fact because there is a mountain of evidence to support it, including fossils, comparative anatomy, comparative biochemistry and physiology, genetics, DNA matching, parsimony analysis and many more.

We didn't evolve from gorillas. Or any apes.
Hominids' and apes' lineage split some 30 million years ago, and we went in different directions.
EDIT:
We didn't evolve from any apes.
We and apes had common ancestor (animal which was neither hominid nor ape), and then this ancestor developed into two strains - apes and hominids.

Humans and gorillas had a common ancester millions of years ago, when that ape like creature migrated some stayed in the jungles and evolved to gorillas and the others evolved into us , this is a very rough and simple explanation but you get the idea.

We evolved not from gorillas but just apes in general. What you probably saw on the diagram was Australopithecus, an upright walking ancestor of ours. The ancestors of Gorillas split off from our evolutionary path before Australopithecus evolved.

You got a problem with that ? Huh ? Huh ?
-
We aren't. You need to listen properly.

yes and alligators. My physiology professor taught evovution but also thought it was bunk. So do I. We were made in Gods image, same as now. ps These types of apes that evolved were around but none of them human, if you ask me.
