How much hydrochloric acid and water should we put in these concentration of HCL acid

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-02-14] [Hit: ]
0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2 refer to Molarity, % by volume or some other measure of concentration.......
0, 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2.
The total has to be 20ml, i know that for 0 you only have to put 20ml of water without hydrochloric acid but i dont know the other so plz help

You don't give enough information to answer the question.

In particular, you need to state what concentration of Hydrochloric Acid you're starting with and whether the figures "0, 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2" refer to Molarity, % by volume or some other measure of concentration.

EDIT: if "0" has 20ml of just water and "2" has 20ml of just HCl then "1" must be 10ml of each. I'll leave you to work out the others because it's so simple that a five-year old could do it.

You don't give the unit of your concentration. Plus it's so easy to do provided you know that your concentration equals your quantity divided by your volume.
