why don't you believe evolution?

It's really not that hard to imagine how a population which had once been adapted to live on land could evolve into whales. In fact it's actually kinda hard to imagine how else whales could have come to exist. They are quite definitively mammals, and mammals quite clearly evolved on land. So at some point a population of mammals must have decided to go for a swim and never come back, otherwise we couldn't possibly have whales.

Evolution is true, whether or not you believe in it. I suggest that you approach the idea of evolution with an open mind and truly try to understand it, because if and when you do I think you'll find it makes a lot more sense than any other alternative explanation for the tremendous diversity of life that we see in the world today.

Or you could just go on living in ignorance and saying "I don't want to study this because I don't believe it." Either way, I guess it doesn't really matter to me as long as you don't go trying to force your ignorance on me or my children. Or your children, for that matter.

Despite what you might think, there is overwhelming evidence to support the process of evolution. The creatures that exist today are not like the ones that existed in the past. There have been many millions of species that have evolved, existed for a time, and then been supplanted by something new. It's a fact whether you like it or not.

In my view, god or no god, there is such a thing as evolution, however, I will not discuss that here as that was not your question.

Try just reading books about it and answering it like you would if it were a science fiction test I guess.
