Hello :)
i need to interview a biology teacher for my essay. Can you think of any good questions to ask her? I've come up with a few but I need more.
Thanks in advance
I love you...

Have you done any field research? What was it about? What did you learn from it? Did you publish it? (ask her for the reference and look it up at the university library. That will give you a lot of information.)
If you find her research, then you might go over with her what the study was about (copy her article and ask her questions about it.)
(If you know she has worked in a particular field, study up a little on what happens in that field so you know how to understand what she is telling you. If there is a point that interests you, ask her about that.)
To you: do you have any particular biology interests that you would like to pursue? Ask your teacher what she knows about your interest. Ask her if there are journal articles you can look at to read more about it.
Ask her what she thinks what directions biology is taking today, and what her ideas are about it. What is the most important thing (or several things) she wants people to understand about biology. How would this help make people's lives better?
What is her favorite part of biology? What does she wish she could do in it? What's her favorite researcher? What university did she go to and what emphasis did they put on biology? Did she get any grants? Public or academic? Did she get any awards? (Grawemeyer, Nobel, etc.)
What is her main reason for teaching biology? What are the main ideas she wants her students to come away with? What kinds of research did she see in her students that did science research?
That's what I can think of off the top of my head. I'm glad you've decided to interview a biology teacher! I am a biologist myself, and I really enjoy the subject! I feel rather flattered!
