Everything around us is round. Core, layers of Earth, sun, moon, planets. As you go farther and farther out, anything with a flat surface is often a sphere.
Perhaps the universe has a core and we haven't gone close enough to experience the gravitational pull. Perhaps we're in between multiple universes and each gravitational pull keeps our galaxy balanced.
