Would we get warning from our sun if it was to explode??(would it happen in millions of years or just happen?)

Nobody really knows the exact time-line or even the rate in which at which it would happen

But we now know..Since the Hubble telescope was put in orbit, so much more about stars galaxies and the universe

Amongst scientists it is more or less universally believed that stars are born have a life cycle and then die...This process takes billions upon billions of years ...As it is a very slow process of the star fusing its hydrogen fuel into helium and constantly releasing this into outer space

At some point this fuel is all but consumed at this point the structure of the star collapses and it will grow (not explode) to something like x100 its original size and destroy anything in it's path including our Earth.... at this point it becomes a red giant...

So yes we would have ample warning..Though there wouldn't be anything we could do to stop it :)..

the sun will never "explode" in fact it is halfway through its middle-age cycle in anothe billion more or less years it will expand 100 times its own size the slowly decreasing and chipping in size to become a white dwarf then a black dwarf more commonly known as a black hole.

Why you worrying about it exploding? It's more likely that a massive solar flare will burn off our atmosphere/drop the power grid for months before anything else.

It is most likely that scientist's would receive some sort of signal from the outstanding technology in our future.

The sun will not end up as a black hole. It simply doesn't have enough mass.

We have. It has already exploded. It will take 2 years for it to reach Earth. Crank up your air conditioner!
