The problem with this question is that it is one of those questions that once solved, brings another question, then another and another and another.
Anyways back to the point, they say God created our universe. If God did created our universe, then what (or who) created God? If the Big Bang Theory (which ironically has nothing to do with an explosion) created the universe then what or (if its ******* possible) who, caused it? Is the universe maybe be that thing that doesn't need a cause for its existence?

Your last sentence/question is the right answer. There was nothing before the universe it just (if you want magically) happened.

It not possible to understand the true being that is God. Humans have tried to understand and that's where the endless array of questions came from. People have gone insane wondering on these topics but the best answer I can give it to have faith. You have the choice to believe or not but I know deep down in the depths of my conscious that there must be a true meaning to life and a true creator.

Well, that's a beautiful question. No one really knows, do they? There's absolutely no way of knowing. So, many people decide to believe many different things in order to explain something which is inexplicable by scientific means.

It is truly an impossible question to answer. Science can only speculate and will likely never get beyond that. There are however many opinions. I believe that God, who has always been, created what we refer to as the Big Bang Theory.
