This also goes for science, personally i love science there are so many things you can learn and well discoveries follow. I'd love to discover something new that has never been discovered before. Some people don't realize that through science that how the world gets better. Without science how would you be able to find cures or medicines for your sickness. How would you know the past and what it bad and what is not. These are some questions people should ask themselves!
YES, because ignorance AND FEAR. That's why we need another civilian version of the GI bill like there was in the 1960's so you could apply for and get financial aid and grants if you were a science undergraduate major or GRADUATE student AGAIN in the United States.
That thumb down is because of paranoia of some one who has a graduate science degree.
I think so though i think that is mainly down to the way it is taught. The basic principles behind a lot of scientific theory are quite easy to understand when they are broken down into terminology that people can understand instead of presenting people with a lot of equations etc. If science was made more accesable to the common person then this would probably not be so.
