When you look at the full moon, what do you see?

-It looks like a disk on the surface of the sky, which in turn looks about 5 miles away.......
In your mind, do you see a globe or a flat disk? You know what it is, but how do you think of it?

-
I see something that is reflecting about 12% of the sunlight that it receives. While I enjoy looking at the moon at just about any time, the full phase is just slightly more interesting then a plaster wall.

-
With the naked eye, I see a flat disk. However using a telescope I see another world that has mountains, valleys, craters & rilles & is definitely 3D in nature. The more time you spend looking at the Moon, the more you *see*.

I don't think of cheese as looking like pecans, so I certainly don't think of the moon as a disk.

-
I think of it as a celestial water park with water slides and other attractions.
I also imagine giant balloons and ice cream with multi colored sugar sprinkles.
