It's a natural body that orbits a planet.
Can it be bigger than it's planet.... I would *guess* that a moon larger than it's planet would never happen; however, if the planet were extraordinarily dense, while the moon was less dense (and contained a smaller amount of mass) - it would be possible. But *extremely* unlikely....

Moon is the proper name for a particular natural satellite that orbits the Earth. Perhaps you meant a natural satellite. It is a body that orbits a planet.

basically anything that orbits a planet, but I'm sure there are more requirements. but yes, a moon should be able to be bigger than its planet.
