I saw a documentary saying that dark matter is kind of like a skeleton where matter clumps together. But can matter float on freely without it's counter part?

The majority of the universe is made of so-called dark matter. This doesn't mean that everything is held together of dark matter. Scientists believe that dark matter helps hold galaxies (the universe ultimately) together, and it helps fight against dark energy. However, it is not gravity, and that's matters counterpart.

Actually, black hole mass IS ACCOUNTED FOR as ordinary matter.
Dark matter is just material that is theorized to exist out of ignorance for an explanation for galaxy rotation the way that it is observed to be. It is "dark" because it doesn't participate in electromagnetism, and hence doesn't interact with any light or any of light's invisible cousins.
We cannot study dark matter by any method other than observing its gravitational influence on other matter. Since we cannot use anything other than gravity to study it...we have a very difficult time understanding what it actually is. We can study how much of it exists, and where it exists...but there is more to studying something than just studying mass and location.

We are the proof that matter can exists outside dark matter.our body is made of ordinary matter.

Yes matter can exists out of dark matter. Dark matter is just like black holes and such. You are matter but you are not dark matter. Hoped that helped.

Go and look in a mirror,do you see any dark matter?
