Dinosaur cloning question

there are a few theoretical ways of cloning dinosaurs or adlest in part biologically engineering current animals to be more like their ancestors so why does no one attempt any of these is it cause they may be spending $100,000's on something that may work or another reason maybe its not sound theory's?

The reason they are not making dinosaurs is simple. Their big, have huge teeth, and can EAT US ALL.
