If so, wouldn't it hurt to be sliding on it the whole time? if not, how do they make babies? heck i guess this goes for all reptiles.. like turtles and alligators too.

Yes they do..and no, it doesn't hurt to "slide on it", as it is internal. It's called a hemipenis, and it's pretty weird looking

I would assume it's the same as chickens. The female lays the eggs and the male fertilizes them. But I dunno for sure. I do know how it works with fish but that's irrelevant.
