well maybe not the best - a gun or another powerful weapon would have to be the best.
But is it really important not to get scared when you see a lion , pitbull, pirahnna, wasp, tarantula, snake, shark etc

For each of the animals listed above, there are rules you need to know, if you do happen to encounter them in the wild. Even if you're not afraid, there are things you can do to protect yourself.
A few of them are don't walk alone in areas where you may encounter a wild animal and potentially be their next meal (mountain lion, bear, wolf).
Don't wander off the trail (snakes).
Don't wear fragrances, brightly colored patterned clothes - neutrals are best (wasps).
Don't swim in the morning, evening or at night in the ocean and NEVER swim alone or go too far out. Don't wear brightly colored swimwear or sparkly jewelry. Don't splash and make lots of noise while swimming, as this attracts sharks into your vicinity, as to pet dogs running in the surf. Sharks can smell the tiniest drop of blood in the ocean from very far off. Don't enter the water with bleeding cuts and women with their period should not swim. Definitely stay away from any area where people are fishing with bait in the water or seagulls are flying over the water. (sharks)

You should not act afraid if you are confronted by a wild animal. However you should assume a submissive position and perhaps not have eye contact and back away slowly.
