In , the Caspian tiger fed on wild boar, roe deer, Manchurian , and livestock. Like the Siberian tiger, the Caspian tiger rarely became a man-eater, unlike the Bengal tiger.
2. it's only predator was Man
3. Recent genetic research indicates that the Caspian tiger and Siberian tiger were genetically nearly identical so it would probably have been normally two to four cubs but as many as six. (The Caspian Tiger's mitochondrial is only one letter of genetic code separated from Siberian Tiger DNA, while it is readily distinguishable from the DNA of other tiger subspecies. This indicates that the Caspian and the Siberian subspecies are really one. )
4. Range map of Caspian Tigers is on Siberian tiger wiki site.
5. there are leopards in the Caspian tiger's historic range and there were asian lions as well that might have competed with them for food and other resources (dens, territory, water).
