The nest is on the tongue of our 5th wheel and we need to move the 5th wheel in about 3 days as we are going camping.

You've got a REAL problem. Chances are that if you move the nest the babies will die.
The best, and possibly only solution, will take patience and every bit of those 3 days. Wait until the mother is gone - move the nest about 12" in the direction you want it to end up (preferably in a tree or somewhere else high and protected). After she leaves the second time, move it another 12". Wait 'till she comes back, then leaves again. Move it another 12". Keep doing this every time she is gone until you've placed the nest in its final destination.
If she is super-rattled and confused and can't find the nest after you've moved it the FIRST time, move it less than 12" each time. In other words, what you want to do is "walk it" to a different location when she's not around to be spooked.
That should do it.
Good luck.

A neighbor found a baby bird on the ground and saved it from her cat by giving it to us. From this I learned that parents continue to care about their young even if the babies are moved. Just pick it up carefully and put it someplace nearby and safe. The parents will take care of their young.

Leave it somewhere where the mother can find it but it is out of the reach of cats and other animals that may eat the babies. It is a myth that the mother won't care for the young if you touch them.
