i've seen that show. they guy raises them from orphaned cubs. he know a lot more about lion behavior than most people, but what he does can still be considered reckless. this isn't something even most experts would think of doing.

(((Moon Ninja)))
LOL
Well the woman in the video that I posted actually rescued this particular lion. After some time went by she went to the sanctuary to have a reunion with him and he recognized her immediately and gave her a big hug.

No way, the lion will have a very good dinner. Although a joke it is the most probable reality.
Here are some facts : Male: Avg. Length: 9 ft. (2.7 meters), weight: 350-400 lbs. (157-180 Kg.).
Height: 36 in. (90cm.)
Female: Avg. Length: 8 ft. (2.4 meters), weight: 250-300 lbs. (112.5-136 Kg.).
Height: 30 in. (75 cm)
(Lengths include the tail. Height measured at the shoulder.)
No. of teeth: 30
I assume that you will not use any type of chemical to make it sleep.
You have a good solution in the video but it will take some time, confidence and ability to do something like that. Do not do it yourself nor suggest someone to do such a thing.

I would have said ask Siegfried & Roy...but that was tigers...and oh yeah.
That is a pretty neat video, but I wouldn't do it.

Jay Leno hugs those "Kitties" about twice a year on the Tonight Show.
