According to weather.com it is 62 degrees in Glenwood Springs, Colorado right now, at the same time accuweather.com says it's 72 degrees.

I cannot answer your question though I believe it is a very reasonable one in this case. If I were you I would contact one or both weather services to seek an explanation. You may also want to check these two temperatures with your local NWS forecast Office. Could a front have passed by and the weather.com observation been after the front passed? I would be surprised if there were not a perfectly good explanation for this discrepancy.

I don't exactly know how they compute their methods, but everything is centered around something called the National Weather Service, or NWS. They make the information that the TV Weatherpeople read on TV.
They are the ones with all of the equipment gathering information to share with the rest of the world. I trust them far more than anyone else.
