thanks!-Slit width = a = (4.30)*10^(-5) mDistance between the slit and the screen = D = 1.32 mWavelegth of Light = λ = 630*10^(- 9) mWidth of the Central maximum = d = (2 Dλ) / a = [{2(1.32)(630)} / (4.30)]*10^(- 4) mCalculate.......
A slit whose width is 4.30 10-5 m is located 1.32 m from a flat screen. Light shines through the slit and falls on the screen. Find the width of the central fringe of the diffraction pattern when the wavelength of the light is 630 nm.

I will give best answer, thanks!

Slit width = a = (4.30)*10^(-5) m
Distance between the slit and the screen = D = 1.32 m
Wavelegth of Light = λ = 630*10^(- 9) m
Width of the Central maximum = d = (2 Dλ) / a = [{2(1.32)(630)} / (4.30)]*10^(- 4) m
Calculate.
