Poltergeist in my house

So I'm sitting here, alone with my little brother watching a Pokemon movie(I know. How gay is that?) but anyways I randomly heard a blow dryer start and so I got up and I went to go see what it was. I go into my mons bathroom and her blow dryer was on. Its on of the old ones, so you have to slide the button which takes a little bit of strength. My mom and sister can both see spirits but sadly I cant... I can only feel their presence and theyre always in my mons walk in closet, which is right beside the bathroom. My mom once told me that there was one spirit squeaking the floor boards to wake her up at like 3 in the morning and then she felt like someone was caressing her cheek. It happened again and she just told it " go to sleep Holly" (holly is my dead sister. She died when she was being born.) And it went away. My mom also says that they like to watch we from that closet. My sister told me that one time she was making clothes for her fashion class and put her scissors down on the floor and when she went to grab them again, they were in the other side if her bed which is on the other side of her room. Creepy. So what
do you think? Poltergeist? Or something else?

That activity is strange, but until you get more activity or evidence, it may not be paranormal or a poltergeist. As a paranormal investigator myself, you should look for more activity and try to capture some EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) on a digital or tape recorder. If the activity continues or if you are in any way, shape, or form attacked, call a paranormal team ASAP. I recommend calling for paranormal investigators in your area. I would recommend my colleagues at Ghost Adventures but I do not know their phone number, I really don't know them and I am not sure if they do house calls.
