I got diagnosed with a heart murmur 3 years ago and i have to go back every two years for a check up. I am due for my next in november. Will my cardiologist know i have smoked weed and cigarettes by lisenting to my heart or from an echo? I have obviously stopped doing both of them, I am freaking out.

Likely not. Respiratory specialists often remark, after listening to my lung sounds, that I have likely never smoked, which is true. So they may suspect that others, with certain tell-tale respiratory sounds, smoke or have smoked sometime in their life. But, some people have asthma or emphysema who have never smoked, so I doubt if there is any certainty in listening to lung sounds. And certainly there would be no definite indication in listening to heart sounds or monitoring an electrocardiogram.
But you should definitely tell a doctor about your smoking marijuana as it could be a risk factor. They are sworn to confidentiality and although they may advise you stop, they cannot discuss this with a parent or anyone else without breaking the law. This knowledge could affect their diagnosis and treatment and therefore may be important to your health.
