CPR in this situation?????????????????????/

No need for mouth to mouth resuscitation. That is the current view and recommendation of the American Heart Association.......
what would you do if your patient doesn't breathe, there is blood from his mouth and nose, you don't have a mask and maybe he has a contagious illness?

-
If there's no mask and you believe there to be a risk of transmission of any sort of disease, it's entirely up to you whether you want to go ahead with mouth to mouth. Definitely clear airways though. Compressions can still be done.

-
If there is blood from the airway & you don't have gloves to really clear out the mouth, you are limited to only compressions because of the danger to you catching a blood borne pathogen (hepatitis, AIDs, and others). If there is cloth you can tear off, you might be able to turn the person on their side, then use the cloth to swab out the mouth & see if that clears the airway. You must always do what you can but that doesn't mean exposing yourself to diseases or bringing something home to your loved ones.

-
Clear the airway as best you can, ask somebody to call 911, or if nobody is present, do some chest compressions first then call for help. Continue chest compressions only. No need for mouth to mouth resuscitation. That is the current view and recommendation of the American Heart Association.
