How much pure orange juice needs to be added to 8 L of 35% orange juice solution to make a mixture that is 48% orange juice?

--

I got the equations:
280 + 100x = 48y
8 + x = y
by multiplying; then I'm supposed to solve using elimination
I multiplied the 2nd equation by -48 and I ended up with a decimal?
Did I do something wrong?

-
y=x+8 substitute in the first equation
100x+280=48(x+8) multiply 48 by x and 8 100x+280=48x+384
divide each term by 4 25x+70=12x+96
take away 12x on both side 13x+70=96
take away 70 0n both sides 13x=26
divide both sides by 13 x=2
check your answer 280+100(2)=48(8+2)
