Hi so I have only two questions which I am now just starting to understand
y+6=-3(x+9)
I may not be the smartest person, sue me.
Y-4=2(x+7)
Could you help? these are example questions could you give me a run through with an explanatory also.

What do you want to know?
So you have to
find slope (m)
find intersection?
and find the slope intercept form of second eq.
1. okay lets find m (WITH BEDMAS)
so "BEDMAS" says Brackets first, so lets expand the bracket
y+6 = -3(x + 9)
y + 6 = -3x - 27
take the 6 and move it to the other side of the equal sign, when you do that it goes from positive 6 (+6) to negative 6 (-6)
y = -3x - 6 - 27
y = -3x - 33
so the "m" or slope is -3
2. let's find intersection. to find intersection you have to equal the equations to each other
so y = -3x -33 and our second equation: y = 4 + 2x + 14 (which is y = 2x + 18)
so -3x - 33 = 2x + 18
-3x - 2x -33 = 18
-3x - 2x = 51
-5x = 51
x = - 10.2
so sub in that ^ back into one of the equations to find the y
y = 2(-10.2) + 18
y = -20.2 + 18
y = - 2.2
so your POI is (-10.2 , - 2.2)
3. to find the slope intercept form:
y -4 = 2(x + 7)
move the 4 to the other side
y = 4 + 2x + 14
y = 2x + 18
THERE IT IS!! (we already did this in the first or second question though)

you haven't asked a question.
y + 6 = -3(x + 9)
is a linear equation in point-slope form. the line passes through (-9,-6) with a slope of -3
about the only other question you could ask is what's the slope-intercept form
slope -3 gives you
y = -3x + b
and to get b you plug in the point,
-6 = -3(-9) + b
-6 = 27 + b
b = -33
so the equation is y = -3x - 33
y + 6 = -3(x + 9)
