Can you help me work out this equation

6 = B/18

I'm assuming that I'm solving for B, so here are my steps:

1 - Put 6 over 1 to make it into a fraction

2 - Factor 6 into 18 making the equation 1 = B/3

And that's where I get stuck :/

See.. its quite simple..
if 6 = B/18,
here 6, = 6/1.
hence 6/1 = B/18
then cross multiply this..
you get 6*18 = B
hence,
B = 108...! its just simple cross multiplying..! and which grade are you in?
