The questions I'm having a hard time understanding is:
n/20 = 6/15
a.n = 50 b.n = 8
c.n = 11 d.n = 12
How do I even find the answer?
Same with this one:
q/-14 =28
a.q = -2 b.q = 2
c.q = -392 d.q = 392
I'd really like to be able to do these on my own... >< thankyou!

n/20 = 6/15
Multiply both sides by 3 * 4 * 5 (the LCM of the denominators)
==> 3n = 6 * 4
Divide both sides by 3
==> 3n/3 = 6*4 /3
==> n = 8
Other one: multiply both sides by (-14)
q = 28 * (-14) = -(28)*(14)

Same thing with the second one. Do this one yourself using the cross-multiplication shown in the first answer, but realize that 28 = 28 / 1,
So rewrite it Q / (-14) = 28 / 1
Then cross multiply like the previous person answered. You can do this.

15n=120, so n=8(cross-multiply)
q=28 * -14, so q =-392
q=28 * -14, so q =-392

Cross multiply for the first one: 20 x 6 / 15 = n = 8
I think your missing a number on the second one so i can't do it
