Sec Theta = 53/45
1. I know it is in quadrant 1 or 4 because its secant and its positive.
2. I used pythagorean theorum and got +/- 28.
My question is how do i know if the Y axis goes to positive or negative 28? Is there a formula???

It says ACUTE angle - which means quadrant 1. So y is positive. (Quadrant 4 makes it a reflex angle.)
