I've a very basic knowledge in Fourier Transform. I came to know this is a very helpful transformation. I want a simple real world application of it. Say, I've collected a number a samples from an analog-to-digital converter. Which are more or less periodic. And of course that is a list of amplitude values vs their corresponding time of recording. Now I want a frequency spectrum of it. All that I need to "transform" the sampled data from time domain to frequency domain.
Can you suggest me a tutorial for it, so that I can have some idea. I'll be using Wolfram Mathematica for actual calculation.
Also can you suggest me some advanced books for this kind of thing, digital signal processing or something like the basics of FT as well as its applications. I want to learn it in detail, I think this is extremely helpful.
