There are always going to be some people that will never be convinced. You can teach them all about biology, yet they'll never actually absorb any of it. You can teach them what the theory of evolution actually explains, and what it really claims, yet they'll still cling to their pastor's distorted and ignorant version and think that that's really what scientists are putting forth. I disagree with evolution because I know for a fact that there is a God. But that's not the only reason. You'd be surprise just how little evidence there is for evolution. If your in biology then you've probably heard that embryos provide evidence for evolution. But that is a lie. Those imbryos you see in your text book were drawn by Ernst Haeckel, but they won't tell you that Haeckel’s drawings were declared fraudulent by Professor His in 1874. He confessed that he lied but justified it by saying that all other scientist lie under the same circumstances. If you look at the photos of the same embryos at the same stage taken be Michael Richardson you'll see that the so called gills on the human embryo are not even present on the fish! Only the human embryo has them. Those "gills" develop into bones in the ear and glands in the throat they have nothing to do with breathing.
There is no evidence for evolution. Its all bad science based on lies.

You might be in a school located in the southern United States. People that are fundamentalist Christians tend to be insulted that we are relatives to the apes. They claim that their god made people as rulers of animals, not kin to them.
The rest of the world besides Muslim countries believe in evolution.
It depends really. The theory of evolution completely contradicts religion. The whole "God made man" idea from the bible is smashed out the window.
