What is the mysterious object found near Mercury

Ok folks, I'm not a UFO believer. But, apparantly recent NASA images of a solar flare hitting Mercury show a large, strange object next to the planet. It appears to be revealed only when the solar flare hits it. I found this link posted by another, top contributer to Answer. Sure, it could be a hoax. It doesn't have any stereotypical ship-like shape you see in other hoaxes. I does look like something...But what? You decide. Here is the link:

Basically, it looks like a digital interpretation of something, but, since it seems to be part of the ejecta, I don't think it's something real.

I accept the explanation because I know a bit about science and no other explanation seems reasonable, not because the big bad government say so.
If you think it's a nearby comet or asteroid vaporising you would have to explain the physics behind it and why it appears in no other images.

Okay, since the Navy guys say its an artifact of image processing in the very link you posted, and you aren't buying that. -- How about a little physics? As in, you can't have a planet sized object that close to another planet sized object without them interacting gravitationally. You also can't have a power source capable of "cloaking" a machine the size of a planet that doesn't emit anything. In fact.. you can't bloody have cloaking at all unless you make your space ship out of dark matter (which you don't) and if you did, the CME wouldn't have any effect.

The link you supply gives the full explanation. It's an image artefact. I don't know what else there is to tell you.
UFO websites going crazy is a sign of ignorance and stupidity and that's about all.
