I don't have a problem protecting the environment, but let's protect the environment. Let's not damage the economy in the name of generating cash for some people who create invalid arguments about global warming.

Oh, yeah, of course, it's all BUSH's fault... NO It Is NOT! There is no power on Earth, INCLUDING Bush, Gore, Every man and woman in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard AND National Guard put together - Add all the weapons in our arsenals and there is no way that all this might could influence the temperature of Mars by a mili-degree! Yes, our CO2 and other gases are contributing to - but not causing - Global CHANGE - it is warming in some areas and COOLING IN OTHERS! So, my misinformed friend, I would suggest you open your mind - your brain will NOT fall out - and learn the FACTS before you go off half ******.

So you agree there is a lot more CO2 in Earth's air, and that we put it there. So ignore the warming and think about this. CO2 is a toxic gas. If you are in a closed room with a running engine the fumes will kill you. Earth is one really big closed room with millions of engines running, and the number of engines is increasing very fast as China and India get rich enough for most of their people to buy cars. It will take a long time, like centuries, to put a dangerous amount of CO2 in the air, but that is no excuse to do nothing about it until people start choking.

Only Venus is another planet with global warming and it happened millions of years ago already.
Mercury can't really have global warming because there is just a trace of atmosphere which can't really capture any heat. Mercury cools off again during its night.
