Did we really go to the moon

hmm I've been on both sides... but the fact that we have a very sensitive reflector device on the moon that would need to be placed at a very specific location is interesting.. at that time we didnt have the technology of robotics as we do now, so putting that device on such a massive object and then being able to find it with a laser shot from earth seems difficult.. for those of you who dont know, there is a reflector on the moon.. we shoot a very powerful laser at it to measure the distance each day... this laser would not work without this piece of equipment on the moon, which was placed there on the moon landing.. I guess they could somehow fake the moon rocks somehow.. but idk.. if they really did just circle around the earth for days then which future mission did they cover up when they would have sent the reflector to the moon? who knowss


I agree with brandon too... It was extremely dangerous.. it was a desperate act, and a very expensive one at that.. there is no more benefit to going back to the moon until we have the technology to build a space station... However i was wondering, why dont they send unmanned solar powered rovers to the moon like with mars, just to have something permanent that can always be moving around and conducting experiments??
