My grandmother had a rocking chair she'd sit in every day while watching TV. She'd be rocking in it, and it was a couch type rocking chair, not the old wooden kind. Anyways, she passed away a month ago or so, and her chair rocks itself at night. Lately my dad and I have been feeling like we're being watched, and I often watch TV downstairs really late so my dad doesn't know. I'll hear the chair creak, and i'll look over and the chair will be rocking slowly. Although, sometimes our house can be drafty because of the swamp coolers,but it never did rock like that when she was still around. Coincidence?

Maybe it is her. Try and talk towards the chair. If it is her, I'm sure it would make her feel at ease if she knows she's being acknowledged.
