The issue is this. Most true chemistry problems fall into a particular pattern.. "How many moles of CO are in a 2L container at STP". etc.

Sometimes people ask questions like.. "how do I make a bomb.. for chemistry class".. and "what's the best way to kill myself"

Your question didn't fit the usual pattern. "how much carbon monoxide would kill you" doesn't sound like a normal chemistry class type question.

I never help students make homemade bombs and I an not Dr Kevorkian. Hence the question "why"
