which of the following do not aid in the identification of X2+ ( Pb2+ or AL3+)
a aqueous KI , b) dilute HCL , c) dilute HNO3 , d) dilute H2SO4

I think it is C.
In my experiment last week,
KI turned Pb2+ into a bright yellow solution.
HCL precipitated PBCl2
and H2SO4 precipitated PBSO4.
We did not test HNO3 and we did not use an AL3+ solution, so this is purely based on PB2+.
Hope it helps!
