All macrophages are phagocytes, but not all phagocytes are macrophages. The professional phagocytes include cells called neutrophils, monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and mast cells. The main difference between professional and non-professional phagocytes is that the professional phagocytes have molecules called receptors on their surfaces that can detect harmful objects, such as bacteria, that are not normally found in the body.

Macrophages ARE phagocytes :)
(Phagocytes are white blood cells).
Macrophages can carry out phagocytosis - which leads to them becoming an antigen-presenting cell (APC) when antigens are broken into their components and displayed in their membrane, making it easier for the cells of the immune system to recognise and initiate the immune response.
