I agree with the other person. Either you should let the poor thing go or feed it. I have the feeling that you don't really want it to keep. Maybe you're going to give it to a friend or bring it to school?
Is it a frog or a toad? Frogs NEED water most of the time, but toads only need it in a small bowl.
If you plan on keeping a frog, you should give it a nice place to live. They like to sit on rocks and bark.
They will eat a lot of insects, but will be shy about it at first. I used to own frogs and toads.
Glass containers or plastic aquariums are the best. They should be flat, such as the ones in the link below.

Frogs absorb things through their skin, so clean your hands well before holding them.
They'll eat any old bug that you catch, like crickets, pill bugs, moths, worms. etc. You should NOT feed them anything that may hurt them, like bees.
If you are going to give it to somebody else, please be considerate and print some care instructions for the little creature. They need to know how to care for it and love it.
Frogs like to be stroked, too. Right on top of the head or their backs but they'll only let you do it if they are not afraid of you.
DO NOT KEEP FROGS IN THE SUN!!!!! They will probably die within the hour if you leave them in direct sun. It needs shade. I know you've said that it has it, but you must make sure it is out of the sun at all times. The links below may help you learn more about care.

Please treat that frog/toad well. It needs to be loved.

You're welcome, hayden.

Just let it go. If you insist on keeping it, at least buy it some crickets from the pet store.
Otherwise, you try going 2 days without food while locked in a rubbermaid container with just a little water.
