Hi, I don't get how you get CaSO4 to be calcium sulfate. I really want to know, and fast help would be appreciated. What rules are applied to get this? Please be clear, thanks in advance!

Ca is the chemical symbol for calcium and SO4 together is sulfate. The S is sulfur, O is oxygen. Sulfate is a polyatomic and has a charge of 2-. Calcium has a charge of 2+, so they react in a 1:1 ratio. making CaSO4.
