Low pitched sharp ear ringing like noise coming from my room since morning. Is this a sign of something paranormal?
At first I thought that it could be my ears but my friends could also hear it..We have shut down all electronic devices and even cut off the power but the noise doesn't seem to go away. The source of the noise is right in my room because it goes away as soon as I go out.

Mr. P say: Record the noise with your phone or voice recorder (USB stick recorders are cheap. Walk around the room recording and say where you are every few paces and if you are holding the recorder up or down. Go out of the room and play it back to discover the source.
It could be pipework - radiators sometimes squeak, whine or hum, knock, clank, make weird noises so I expect it is that.
Also USB chargers do make this noise or any small power supply.
There is also the possibility of insects making this noise - such as the noise a fly makes when trapped.

Investigate the most likely reasons before jumping to the paranormal unless you have objects flying about or at least 5 other unexplained events. The paranormal events usually happen over a period of time.

hard say: All the power is off so it must be coming from outside your room or from next door

English Guy say: Usually from something using high voltage like a low energy light bulb or fluorescent. If you are young, you can hear very high pitch noise that older people can't hear. It could be from something running next door. There are thousands of things that you have to look at before paranormal.
